New Zealand-born singer/songwriter Sarah Spicer spent her early adult years living in San Francisco, California, where she honed her skills as a songwriter, live performer and recording artist in the rock and blues scene.
During her time in America she became a close friend of John Lee Hooker, the famous Blues singer. Sarah sings jazz, folk and blues and writes many of her own songs.
Through her love of the Blues, Sarah has found a new backing group in the form of The Blue Riders, headed up by Liam Ryan, the well-known Tauranga musician and Jazz Festival stalwart.
A unique, versatile and spirited talent, Sarah continues to write and record new songs.
