TERTIARY STUDY AWARDS

Recognising artistic talent and potential

The Katikati Twilight Concerts Tertiary Study Award is designed to recognise and assist Katikati students who have demonstrated artistic talent and potential and who are pursuing a career in the arts. 

This award is also available to adult students who reside in the designated area and fit our criteria. 

Objectives 

Eligibility 

Resides in, or whose family home is in the Katikati area as defined by the boundaries of the Western Bay of Plenty District Council north of the Wairoa River. 

An applicant who is studying in an artistic field in relevant studies at tertiary level is eligible for consideration. 

The categories are: 

If shortlisted, following the application process you will be required to attend an interview by appointment, the week following the closing on November 30th, 2023. 

Level of Funding 

Up to two scholarships may be awarded in any one year. 

Each scholarship will be for up to NZ$2000. 

The scholarship will be paid as follows: Where possible the scholarship money will be paid directly to the relevant tertiary institution for the payment of fees and other ancillary expenses. Otherwise, the money will be paid directly to the applicant to reimburse expenses once proof of payment of these costs has been given to the Twilight Concerts Committee.  

How to apply 

Applicants must complete the application form – please also attach any other relevant information. 

The deadline for submitting the application is 5pm November 30th, 2023. 

All applicants will be informed of the Committee's decisions by December 14, 2023. 

Applicants must supply the names and phone numbers of two people prepared to act as referees.
